I was lucky enough to shoot portraits of YAYA, a local band in Basel. The picture on the left is the first portrait which is used for their single called "doomsday" and is available starting from today on several streaming applications.
Let me write a bit more about the process of this very special portrait. As you probably can't imagine the photo is from an expired Fujifilm FP-100c, whereby the haze on the negative is coming from the developer that reacts with the photo senstitive positive. During the last months I experimented with portrait photography and expired Polaroid and Fujifilm peel-apart film on a Hasselblad 500cm. With different techniques I recovered the negative of the film which people normally garbage directly. The outcome of the negatives are very special and depend on the precision and dedication I put into every single image. I'm really happy with the way this one came out.
